Please, be awared and ... try a deeper look !

If you have a person whose colour(s) have been changed by user, using the options:

Border Out[br]Border Fill[br]Top Label[br]Bottom Label[br]- under DISPLAY

... then, there are some cases (see my following message) in which - after ENTER - the given options change back to the 4 defaults. The "Draw Border" quadrant has a V, while the other three quadrant (under it) are empty. This problem has started since the last versions under 14 or since the first versions under 15.

As far as I remember, someone else has also written you about this some weeks ago.

(see my following message)

Each person has a lot of properties (from GENERAL through CUSTOM TAGS).

As well as you already know, I've also added a lot of others.

After flipping for some time between these properties, I press ENTER.

After pressing this ENTER (but not in all cases), all the 4 characteristics (under DISPLAY, reminded in my previous message) return to default.

I have found another one when renaming a genomap which sometimes has to be done several times before it sticks, though I have found that "saving as" cures this.

Can you send me a sample .gno file with step-by-step instructions to reproduce the problem.  If I can reproduce the problem on my machine, I will fix it.

From time to time, the colours of the entity return back to default.

At that stage, it's too late for me (practically IMPOSSIBLE FOR USER) to try and reconstruct the list of steps through which I've (HE'S) just passed. I've already seen (through the correspondance) that I'm not the only one "suffering" of this problem.

Please pay attention at the fact, because it needs care, the phenomenon being relatively new (since about 2 versions ago).

NE more problem:

A new "burial type" is necessary, indicating family "unidentifiable or kept graves" (maybe unused/empty - maybe with unreadible enscription).

After flipping for some time between these properties, I press ENTER.

Pressing 'ENTER' is not necessarily the same as clicking the OK button, especially when you have been moving around the other page tabs. 'ENTER' causes the button that has focus, or is selected, to be actioned. Since the problem does do not occur all the time perhaps through pressing the TAB key you have inadvertently changed the focus to the 'Cancel' button. Please change your action to clicking the OK button instead of pressing ENTER and see if the problem still manifests itself.

The only time I have noticed a genomap not being renamed properly is when I have changed the name and then clicked elsewhere instead of pressing ENTER to complete the renaming. Sometimes when I did this the wrong genomap was renamed. I do not remember the exact sequence of events and am unable to reproduce the problem at present.

This is exactly what I found so it is not too much of a problem
