The way of adding pictures to the sources is different in the Birth sertificates and educational documents.

if one wants to add the photo of the document to the source of the Birth sertificate it is possible but to add the picture to the educational document is impossible because there is no field to do so.

it would be highly appreciated I think by all GenoPro community.

One more thing - in the types of sources there is a lot of descriptions of some different documents but I couldn't understand which one matches to the simple document (one paged as sertificate is) and is there difference between diploma, sertificate, passport... (and by the way how to enter passport data if needed)...

- there is a field picture in the source about birth, religios record, death, funeral, burial and pictures of the individual itself, once more there is a field of picture of places.

- there is no picture for educational sources (if I want to insert diploma scan or sertificate picture)

- there is no picture field for occupational sources (if I want to insert a picture of the record of service original)

I want to come back to my question about source and pictures as addition of the educational and occupational items

As for now we can add a source (and pictures) to the educational and occupancy only when we come to the Place where was educated or workplace... but I think that these entrances are describing the PLACE but not the document (diploma, certificate, etc.).

I think that it is an important field - source of the educational (occupancy) record and it can be attached to the educational record and not to the place.

As a solution I see next:

- to make the Comment in the educational (occupancy) lower

- Just below the Level and Achievement and above the Comments insert an additional field - source

It would become the same as it is in the birth, death, baptism, and marriages records... all at the same place

And in this source would be possible insert a picture of diploma or another document.

Actually the 1^st part of your reply 12262 is not quite true. You can enter, say, the photo of a diploma or of anything else you like within an Edu record.

To do so:

1)      Select an Ind Edu tab. Enter any data or

2)      Click the Edit button if you already have an Edu record within the Edu summary list.

3)      Select the Pict tab.

4)      Browse to fetch your Pict and enter the Pict name.

5)      Eventually you can also input a source for the Pict by clicking on the Edit button.

6)      On the Sources tab, if you click the Edit button again, you can also add up a picture, i.e. the Pict of the source of the Pict.

7)      And so on. I think it’s endless.

You can also add up a 2^nd photo of an Edu record, e.g. a 2^nd diploma. From 3) above, click new and you’ll be ready, on the Pict tab, for another Pict data input.

Same/similar for the Occu Object.
