I use trial version GenoPro 2b17.

I experience the total crash of graphical presentation of my tree.

Some descendants disconnects from parents and can not be attached back. The irrelated records are displayed in the same place, mixed between them. The use of autoarrange options from

the tools menu brings to irreversible disappearance of the connecting lines and do not perform the expected arrangement.

What to do?

Thank you,

Mark

What is happening is Windows (GenoPro) cannot display the family tree because it is wider than 4 billion units, resulting in the appearance of a crash.  The scroll bar are probably not working well, making jerky scrools.

The AutoArrange is good only for small simple trees.  Is is higly recommended to try the AutoArrange and do an Undo if not satisfied with the layout.  In the worse case, do not save your family tree if the AutoArrange screw up.

If you have saved after doing an AutoArrange, I would recommend to go back to a previous backup.  The other alternative is doing a Trivial AutoArrange, however you will loose a lot of display.  You will have to use the key V (Bring this Family to this GenoMap) to rebuild the entire layout.
