The right-side scroller appears no more under a LAYOUT (defined by the user) which has more than 14 tags !!!

I hope that no info has been lost

(I used to have a lot of those ...)

I noticed this bug a few days ago.  This bug was introduced when I removed the Customize button which screw up the scroll bar.  It will be fixed in the next beta.

No data has been lost; it is just that the tag is not visible.

I noticed the disappearance of the "Customize button". I also know that the custom_tags routines is not a 1st priority and will be consolidated after v.2 but, as a quick fix, perhaps could you change the still remaining note: "You can customize those tags by clicking on the Customize button" into something like:

"You can customize those tags by clicking on Tools -> Tag Editor... menu.".

Thanks.

There are several months of work with the custom tags.  I don't want to delay v2.0 for this.

The text was changed *before* removing the Customize button.  What you see is the text saved in the .gno file.  If you start a new document, you will see different text.

It's interesting. I started a new tree and, effectively, I got this (12 tabs on a single row):

but with my existing file, I got that:

Any way, then, to get the 1st screenshot instead of the 2nd one, with my existing file?

Have you saved your file in the latest beta? My current tree was started many betas ago, but the individual properties page in my file corresponds to your first screenshot.

Yes I did many times but it was the same, always with this "hidden" main tab row.

After fiddling around, I finally got, today, the 1 tab row display. I had to:

1) delete all my Ind Custom Tags,

2) edit my main .xml file and delete all ref to these tags,

3) open the xml file with Genopro.

And now it's fine.
