It may have been discussed somewhere but I cannot find.

Question: Is it possible to set relations (social or emotional) across 2 Individuals located in seperate Genomaps?. If yes, How?

Thank you.

Create an hyperlink to have the two individuals in the same GenoMap.  After establishing the emotional relationship, you may delete the hyperlink.  GenoPro will remember the emotional relationship but won't display it.

Ok I understand. I set up an hyperlink and now I've got both Inds on the same Genomap (within the same file). Without that, I was wondering how to physically show the relation!

When you say: "You may delete the hyperlink", I suppose you mean changing the link from Automatic to No Action, instead of deleting the new Hyperlinked Ind? otherwise everything disappears: the hyperlinked Ind and the relation.
If yes, what is, then, the purpose of a "No Action" hyperlink?

Further important remarks:

1) The relation (social or Emotional) is not narrated within the Hyperlinked Ind page. For info, it applies to all hyperlinked Inds.
2) The Ron topic 12383, about both ways relations, is not implemented yet. In fact, realistically speaking, a lot of Emotional relations are also of a "both ways" type!
3) I linked 2 alive Inds and the narrative says, e.g. : "Jean-Claude is roommate of Olivier blabla". What about if they were roommate 30 years ago? I believe Genopro should provide, within the Relation Prop panel, a User choice such as 2 tick boxes titled/named, say, "Present" and "Past". The narrative should then say "... is roommate of ..." or "... was roommate of ..." accordingly.
4) In View -> TL menu, the Social Relations item is still not shown. It should also be a "Display Social Relationships" tickable line in the middle section of the View menu.

I have put some code in to handle this and I believe it is working with the exception that I misspelt 'Acquaintance' but other both ways social relationships, i.e. Roommate, LivesWith and Neighbor should be OK. I'll also look into doing the same for two way emotional relationships.
