| One of the excellent features of GenoPro is possibility to add picture to a source. I'm using this feature to record copy of the old books (pages from old church registers). But there is still something to improve. To be able to really use this feature I need to open several pictures (for example from sources) to compare them etc. At the moment it is not possible, only one picture can be open in picture window, and even (unfortunatelly) when I close the source window, the picture from the picture window dissapeare. What I need is following: - have an option to open several picture windows (I need to open copy of several sources and to compare them) - have possibility to open picture window and then still work with GenoPro (at the moment we can have only a look at the picture in a separate window, we can write in a parent window but not to do onother work with GenoPro); I need to open picture of a source and then to rewrite informations from the source to different fields, I need to look for another source, anothe rperson etc...

| I have only just noticed this post. One way of achieving what you want is to add the file to the Source tab. You have to go to the Edit or New menu to do this. Once the link is established the file is opened in its linked program. I use Irfan View for images and you can have several images open at the same time, resize or zoom them.

Would it please be possible to detail how the link is established. Thanks

Hopefully the new Help feature will detail this. Go to the Source tab and create a name under 'Source Title /Source Name'. Then half way down on the right click on the 'Edit...' button. This opens the 'Source / Citation Properties' menu. Click on the 'Browse' button and select a file. To view the file click on 'Open URL'
To use this feature later you have to go through the same procedure to get to the 'Open URL' button; it is not obvious that you have to go to the Edit menu to find the files - unless I have missed something. Hopefully this will be made easier/more obvious later on

Thankyou for your assistance. Yes, this is very useful. I was looking for a way of displaying a web page within the source, and this will work nicely.
