Can not find the occupancy type as part of the narrative phrase under PhOT in the dictionary file, although the occupancy type itself is there for translation.
Any comments?
When is the phrase from PhOT and when from PhOccupancy used?

The Dictionary PhOccupancy phrase is used in generating the contacts.htm page that is referenced from the contacts index. This is in more of a list style than a narrative one.
The PhOT... phrases are used to generate the occupancy phrases on the individual's page. The occupancy type is used to select the particular phrase and the type of occupancy is intended to be conveyed in the wording of those phrases. The 'PrimaryResidence', 'Other' and <blank> phrases are set to the same values i.e. lived/has been living/lived. I am open to suggestion for other wording in these phrases.

Of course these phrases are only present in the report if the Privacy option 'Remove All Contacts' is not checked!

Thanks, Ron, but I think the page contacts.htm could need some improvement. At the moment it produces a page like:

, most of the time with just one(1) reference.

If this page would like:

{occupancy place}

       +/- References

            {person A} for {x years} {from/to} as {o.Type}

            {tel/fax} {email}{mobile}

            person B etc......,

then you can see all persons, who have lived and/or worked at this place listed and sorted according to date span.

I can see what you mean, how implementation such as you describe could a little complicated as collection and sorting of the records is required and also 'contact place' is an optional field.

As a compromise solution I could perhaps changes the places report to qualify the references with more details of what happened at the place and when, such as birth, baptism(etc), death, funeral and burial for an individual and occupancy type for contacts. Sorting on earliest date might be possible. Earliest because an individual may have several events at the same place.

This is a more straightforward solution as GenoPro already collects the place references together.

Will we see this kind of report in the next Beta?

Hopefully yes, time permitting. I'll fix any bugs first then work on minor enhancements such as this. I think Dan intends beta 20b to be the final one before version 2.0 proper.

Which means that we can start working on a Hebrew skin...

I have a question regarding the default report and its translated skins.
Each Beta version had several changes both in the default skin and with the Report Generator. This was the major reason why I gave up doing a translated skin. Each time I translated the default skin, the next Beta version came with the (blessed) changes in it. The new default skin had to be translated all over again, and the improvments to the report generator caused the translated skin a lot of errors. This is why I decided to stop my efforts and wait to a final version.

My question is: can we assume that we can start translating the default skin without worring that the next versions will force us to start all over again?

You are welcome to start translating the default skin.  Any future versions will honor backward compatibility.  The changes of Beta 20x are the final changes before releasing the product.
