| The directions for a project I need to do include the following: Be sure to indicate yourself as the index person by drawing a double circle or double square around yourself. How do I draw a double circle around myself? Thanks,
- Mary

| In the display tab, select draw borders around object. You can customized the color and background also.

ma2906 (3/5/2007) Is it possible to make this a circle? There is no way to make a circle the way it is shown by JCMorin, but you can use the tool "New Closed Figure" around yourself and change the shape until you have a circle or close to it. You can position this figure to back or front and also can change colors. This is the best I can recommend at this stage. If you can accept a square, then proceed as shown by JCMorin and use the text label to make another square around yourself. It will look like a double square.

There is a way to display a larger circle around a female gender symbol, assuming you are using Map Text size Medium. Create a new Female and double click to 'Individual Properties'. Go to Family Tab and click 'make label' Go to Display Tab and change Gender fill to the background color (originally white), change Border outline and Border fill to 'transparent' Place new member over the top of Your gender symbol and Right Click on it and choose 'position' then 'send to back'. Right Click again and choose 'size' and then choose 'Extra Large' You will have two circles around your gender symbol and it will not affect your reports.
However, this is only a work around, and the preference would be to use the border provided in the progam (even though it is a rectangle).
