When checking for an update this is often from within GenoPro - using the Help feature. If a new version is downloaded it can not be installed until you have closed the existing program, which you have just used. You have to move back to GenoPro and close it and then continue with the installation.
Many installation procedures will close this for you - usually after checking that you want to do so at this moment. A small detail, but makes everything look more polished.
