prior to V2007 i had used the comments field to record address information for my ancestors.

i've now started moving this information into the new fields 'Occupancy Place', 'Type' & 'Source' and deleting the information from 'Comments'.

Bizarre as it sounds i've discovered that if you double click on an ancestor, click on 'contact' tab, then click on 'occupation' tab and then go back to 'contact' tab that all of the information has reverted back to being stored in the 'comments' field.

If you close this ancestor record and then open again the data reverts back to the new fields. At which point the process is 100% repeatable.

Even more bizarre is that this happens even after the changes have been saved

Just in case it has any bearing, I have changed the order of the columns so that the ones that i'm interested in in 'Occupancy & Contact history' are towards the left.
