| As Place of Birth and Place of Death eventually applies to all individuals in a Family tree, I would think that these fields would be more appropriate in the General tab of an Individual pane than Home Phone, Work Phone and Email. In my tree, I have these fields completed for only a handful of individuals and, obviously, they are always blank for the deceased. I never really use them from here. If I want to email someone, my family tree is not the place where I look for their email address! In any case, they are still stored under Contact. Do you think these would be more appropriate?

| Hi there! Yes, I also think that these fields are without use there. more proper fields are is a question of a discussion (e.g. either to double some more usable fields from the other tabs or to insert there some new fields which couldn't be inserted before because of lack of place). Thank you

I am currently working on a special dialog for Genograms where the "Place of Birth" is on the same tab as the name and date of birth. In the future, I may add other tabs where the user could pick which one he/she wants to use according to his/her preferences.

| Adding the Place of Birth would be great. Your suggestion of adding other tabs would be ideal and it would certainly make it very versatile. Bob.
