When I use the report generator and choose report skin Export to Gedcom (EN), it appears the Gedcom file is generated, but I receive the following message:
Error at line 217, position 2 (Gedcom.js): 8007007F
When I use a reporting program such as the Complete Genealogy Reporter, it appears that there are no issues with the file; however, adoptions appear to be handled incorrectly. Even this, however, is inconsistent, as some adoptions are correct while others are not.
Can't place my finger on it.
Regards, Tony Favata

| The error occurs after the .ged file has been written and the script is attempting to create a shell in which to run Notepad in order to display the .ged file contents. It is possible your installation of Windows Scripting is corrupt. You could try downloading the Windows scripting package from Microsoft and re-install. If you can send me (via File/Send feature on GenoPro's Menu bar) a sample .gno file that results in invalid adoptions in the .ged I will investigate.

It is also possible to have a problem launching Notepad. If you have a desktop shortcut named "Notepad", Windows will have a problem. I got this problem once, as I was unable to view the source code of an HTML page. The trick is to rename the shortcut, say "Notepad_" so Windows can launch the proper executable - Notepad.exe.
