I have several ancestors for which a death date is unknown and the timeline indicates that they are still alive after 130 yrs. Is it possible to place a question mark or a ragged edge after a default time of , say, 110 yrs so that the timeline doesn't look ridiculous? Thanks

It is far better to correct your data by marking members over 110 years old as deceased. Easily done in table layout view and then ALL reports will more closely resemble fact.

| You mark as deceased everyone older than 130 years old with a few mouse clicks in the Table Layout. See post Auto Death for step-by-step instructions.

| Thanks guys. I think I prefer the 4-click method as it is simple and makes sense. Now if I can just get an answer on my Collapsing Alphabetical Index problem as given under FamilyTrees.genoPro.com, I'd be happier still. OOPS I think I messed up this posting by doing a reply while I was still in the AutoDeath link. But how did this create a new forum entry??????????????
