No, I'm not trying to break a record. Just some thoughts that accumulated the last couple of months.
I think it would be useful to be able to specify "End of family" (i.e. no children) for an individual who is not linked to a mate. In this way we can distinguish between an individual for whom we have no mate info but know that he/she didn't have any children, and an individual for whom we know nothing about.
I actually have many such cases (I mean the former category) in my tree.

I second this idea. I am not a programmer but I think it will not so complicated to visualize a little comment for some person. In my more than 7000 individuals tree, there are still many who are still/remain unknown but there are also a couple individuals which we are sure that there are no children.

Actually I found out yesterday afternoon that this already exists in the beta version. In Properties --> Death --> Childless one can select for an individual whether he/she has had any children in his life, even if they are still alive. Sorry for bringing up a non-existing issue, I didn't see it.
