I know this is not a request for an immediate update, but I wonder whether we will be able to include songs and videos in this program in the future, since I believe that the data collected has also something to do with history and culture and songs are part of the culture we like to conver to our next generation.
I took many single 8mm films some 40 years ago from places around the world and I really would like to put some clips into this program.

Any comments?

Sounds nice, no doubt, the more the better. However, GenoPro is a family-tree application with lot's of extra features that make it a wonderful program. Of course, there's always room for improvement, but I think the aim is not to have a complete family history carrier. No doubt, songs, videos and other data are part of the family's history and culture, but they belong to the "family archives". Should we, similarly, enter all letters sent and received by all individuals in the tree?

I don't know if in the future Dan aims to create a "family archives manager" but I think for now our audio-visual stuff is ok to be limited to photos.

At any rate, there's always hyperlinks. There can be links to movie clips or songs that are stored either on a hardisk or on the web. BTW, although I personally don't use external hyperlinks, I think it would be nice to be able to create more than one.

Looks to me that this topic has also something to do with the topic "File attachment" posted around September 13 and was answered by Genopro.

Thanks for giving us a direction we can work on.
