when the V2 package is released, can a hard copy package of the data form be attached for printing, please.

I use a data base at work to gather data on clients. it is a fairly extensive data base and i cant always be sitting in front of a computer when i am gathering info. Accordingly, I have a hard copy of all of the question that i can fill in while i am talking with a client or on the phone to someone.

I would like a document that i can print out. I want to be able to sit on the phone with a relative and fill in the questions as we talk so that i can then transfer the info to the computer later. There are a number of printouts around, but i would like one that is specific to the data lists on genopro. Better to have a dedicated document rather than make do with a bunch of documents that only just do the job.

thanx.

I presume you're using beta. V1.x had Report Generator which is now under reconstruction for V2. It created Reports of complete document in HTLM and RTF format.

Even now, you might use it. Beta creates copy of *.gno document in v1.x and you may open it with Genopro V1.x with Report Generator. It does not have all the data available in beta but might be of some use.

Only thing I would lke to see in new report generator is that it might be customizable in a way that it can be determined what data should or might be included in report...

I hope I helped...

I was thinking more along the lines of data gathering, not presentation. The report produced by genopro is good, i was thinking along the lines of blank data sheets that i can print out and fill in with a pen.

This way, i can be on the phone or in the field, filling out the correct data that genopro will be needing.

I dont want the report, i want a blank document with all the beta data question s on it so that i can fill it in.

You can copy the content of the entire Table Layout into the clipboard and later paste it into a spreadsheet or word processor. The spreadsheet is best if you want to keep every columns while the word processor is good if you want the word-wrapping feature (in case a comment is too long).

GenoPro has support for user-defined tags (Menu -> Tools -> Tag Editor). You can then store additional information you feel is important.
