I've been using 1.91b, and I've been having a problem with long horizontal lines disappearing when I go to print my family tree. They appear in print preview, but they just don't print.

I downloaded the beta version 2.b11h, and the problem seems to persist in this version, too.

I read on the old message board that it had been reported to you before, but I wanted to let you know that it still exists in the current beta version.

Otherwise, this is simply the BEST genealogy program I've used. I've tried a few others, and none of them are as intuitive and as powerful as GenoPro Gold. You have created a masterpiece! :D

I have seen this problem appearing on the HP printers, even the popular LaserJet 4M. Updating the print driver usually does the trick. Can you tell me what printer you are using?

You know, I think you're right about the driver. I'm using an HP Photosmart 7150 at home, but when I sent it to myself at work, I was able to print it just fine there. I'm going to see about an updated driver.

Thanks very much for your tip!

I suspect HP is using a framework to develop new printer drivers. Since I suspect the framework template has this bug, each new printer driver inherits this bug. After having sold many thousands of printers, HP releases an update of their printer driver to fix the bug. So far, I have seen this bug only with HP printers, and nearly all new models, going back as far as year 1999. By the way, HP makes excellent printers... what you have is a driver issue; not a hardware problem. I am crossing my fingers HP will release soon a driver update for your printer.

I have used 1.91 with my HP870Cxi to print out trees.

When I tried to set up printing in 2.b11 with 2 horizontal and 2 vertical pages the print pre-view only used the first row.

Sorry folks. Thought I had hit a problem when reducing the width of a tree by moving the left hand side to another GenoMap. However middle of the night thinking was to increase the number of horizontal pages to get onto the second row.

Should have known better as it has happened before
