I guess this bug requires the attention:
If I select a person from one of the genomaps(around 19) and copy this person in order to paste this person onto a "new" empty file, it copies not only the person, but also all the genomaps, although empty.
More info needed?

What exactly you are doing?
I am currently working with my tree, and it envolves copying persons and families from one GenoMap to another and I don't have any problem.

| Try to copy a person from any genomap into a new file (not new genomap)(Ctrl+N), in my case all the genomaps are copied as well, which should not be the case.

You are right.
It copies the person alright but with all other GenoMaps. The other GenoMaps are empty (no object was copied - only the GenoMaps with their names)

This is a tricky feature by design. The names of the GenoMaps are copied only when pasting into a fresh new document. Try the following:
Create a new .gno document. Insert an object, say a male or a female, and delete it (using either undo or the delete key).
Paste the object(s) from the clipboard. You will notice the GenoMap names have not been copied. If you paste the content of the clipboard into a brand new .gno document, you will paste all the GenoMaps.

I wanted to have a way to copy (or import) the names of the GenoMaps from one .gno document to another. Instead of having a special function (rather than the standard paste from the clipboard), I decided that pasting to an empty document would be the condition to copy all the GenoMap names. The condition of pasting into an empty family tree is quite rare, so it cannot be an annoying feature, yet can be very handy to have all the GenoMap names. I realize this feature was handy to me while testing the addition and deletion of GenoMaps, and maybe not as useful for the average user :?
Although by design, I am still considering removing this feature. Sometimes the original design is flawed and must be changed.

OK, but why copy the GenoMaps names and not the content?
to my opinion it is easier to rename the GenoMaps.
