| In the example of the new genopro, you said there would be a button to create an alias, or place the same person on the tree twice in differnt places, I cannot find this button, where is it please.?

In the example of the new genopro, you said there would be a button to create an alias, or place the same person on the tree twice in differnt places, I cannot find this button, where is it please.?I think that the Hyperlink option is what you need. The Hyperlink lets you create alias of the individual and put him in another place in the tree or in another GenoMap. To create an Hyperlink you can either: select the individual you want to creat alias for him and then you can either:
1. press "H" on your keyboard.
2. rightclick with your mouse and select "New Hyperlink..."
3. press the "New Hyperlink" button (first left, second row).

Which version of GenoPro are you using? The Alias was a feature of version 1.xx but most of this discussion relates to version 2.1x. The confusion could be that the help files are still for the 'public' version of GenoPro ie v.1.99. As Yehudad says, the use of GenoMaps has taken over

Thanks guys for replying. The Alias has been replaced with the Hyperlink. You can also create an hyperlink by right-clicking on the individual and selecting the New Hyperlink menu item. GenoPro will display a sub-menu of all the GenoMaps, so you can directly create an hyperlink into an existing or new GenoMap.
