I just got done scanning a truely massive amount of documents for my family tree
what do you think about a way that you could create a folder in windows that would house the documents ( in this case pdfs)
so that if you double clicked on the individual in the tree they it would open the path to the folder
mabey some sort of visual marker that shows they have files to look at

| As a starter you can add an external hyperlink to a pdf file (you will have to select files of other type in the Browse window). Then the hyperlink will open that file in its default program, normally Acrobat. After that you can look at other files in that folder/directory.

Or simply paste the required folder path in the external hyperlink field. Windows will then open the folder with Explorer when you click on the hyperlink. You could inhibit the display of a gender symbol and just have border. You can then link the dummy 'documents' individual to a real individual using a social relationship. e.g.
'lego audio video erro ergo disco' or "I read, I listen, I watch, I make mistakes, therefore I learn"

Eventually GenoPro will support "file attachments" similar as the pictures. The label will also support hyperlinks to another GenoMap or to an external file.
