| It may not be a bug as such, but seems strange. I entered for 3 of my families: marriage->religious (and no other data). The following screenshot shows, when opening the "table Layout -> families", 3 times that marriage in family 9 (the correct one) but also 10 & 13. Is it normal?
For info, the said 3 marriages are all grouped together under the same marr00005, as shown below:

Have you checked are there some overlaying (several marriages one over the other)? Try manually arranging to see if there is any!

| I checked and cannot see any problem. It is, I suppose, the way Genopro handle (and group) marriages/unions. I entered a dummy marriage place in one of my marriages. Genopro split Marr00005 into 2 (row 3 and 6 of the Unions screen). Why Genopro didn't name it 00010, for example, instead of 00005 again? That's another question. Thanks.

| My last experiment is as follows: I entered 3 different dummy places. The 3 marriages are now split (rows 3, 6 & 7) as shown:
I then delete the said places and, to make sure, from the stray items list. The 3 marriages are still split (same rows 3,6 & 7) but under the same marr 00005 No. To my opinion, and this is the point of this topic,Genopro should have handled/considered 3 separate marriages instead of a grouped one. Thanks.

| Are those marriages between same persons? What I thought is possibility of overlaying marriages in visual representation, but I might be wrong! If I got it right it's really strange...

| It took me awhile viewing the Families and Unions tables to realise the way GenoPro stores information. If the marriage information is identical (ie Marriage Type, Marriage Date, etc) regardless of the spouses involved, then GenoPro stores the information under the same id (Marrnnnnn), and lists the spouses involved under the Dependents/Assigned To column in the Unions table (if necessary increase the width of the column to see all the spouses. Clicking on any set of spouses should link to the appropriate unique family in the Families table. icquasp, the problem you are having with duplicate Marrnnnnn entries is, I believe, related to the incorrect famnnnnn information shown in your first post. For some reason GenoPro has mixed up the information Marriages and Husband / Wife columns. I had a similar problem where a correctly (as far as I could see ) marriage would only display as 'Family' in the Marriages column. It wasn't until I deleted the 'Link as Parent' links and then relinked them that the marriage showed up correctly. I suggest that you delete the incorrect links in your tree and then reconnect them - hopefully that will correct the family information, and the problems you are having with the Marrnnnnn ids should go away. (One other thought, related to a post from several months ago, maybe one or more of the links is a 'Link as child' or 'Link as Parent' where it should be the other - that can seriously mess up the information, even though the graphic looks OK.)

| I removed the 3 mate links as suggested and relinked my 3 couples. This is OK now as I've got 3 separate entries in the union table view: Marr00010, 11 & 12. I also deleted my 3 obsolete Marr00005 from the stray panel. I tried to recreate the initial scenario but to no avail. Thank you anyway.
