Hi!

I would like to insert to some individuals something like footnotes.

I could insert the numbers for example under the Field Titles, Suffix or something like that. The problem is, that I want to display only the First-Name, Middle Name and the "Footnote", but NOT the Family-Name and that I can't find any combination. Is there a possibiliti to display the name like this: Title, First-Name, Middle-Name??

For example: (1) John Daniel

Thanks a lot!

Manfred

Where do you want to insert your footnotes?  In the family tree or in the HTML report?

Have you tried using a Text Label?  You need GenoPro Beta for this.

Now I tried it. It could be a make-shift. The problem is, that (imho) they are not connected with the individuals, so if you make for example an auto-arrange, the Text-labels will be in the wrong position.

I understand what you mean.  In the future, we will have labels that will be able to bind to a particular object.  If the target object moves, then the label will follow by keeping the same relative position.  We also plan to have those text labels capable to automatically extract text values from other objects, such as a comment or some other value.

BTW, you might add automatic field with such references, something like Legend...
