With places within places there is also a new reporting page for places necessary.
However what I am looking for is an appropiate list of categories. School, university and college could be unified into educational institute. Instead of city a more universal word should be used (at present I am at a loss of such kind of word) and there are place categories entirely missing. Ocean, rivers, mountains and so on. Even outer space is a place. A captain is working on the ship, which is cruising the ocean/lake/river.
Buses, trains, taxis are vehicles of transportation (also ships).
May be somebody can come up with a complete new list??

May be somebody can come up with a complete new list??I agree the place categories have to be revised. You did a good job with the list of industry sectors. I would be happy to include your list of place categories.

| Hope the e-mailed list can be incorporated already into the Beta 18. Sub-categories can wait until after release of 2.0

For technical reasons, the new place categories will be included in Beta 18. Beta 17b uses the same internal format as Beta 17 - and it is impossible to remove or map existing places until Beta 18.

Beta 19 was released earlier because of the ZIP compression. So far, the file format has not changed since Beta 16. I am upgrading the file format this week.
