| This question more or less similar have been raised previously, but I would like to give it another kick! Often I miss a sheet/questionaire which I could have as a full print out record of person/family properties. What I would like to suggest is print out sheet with all data input fields from within GenoPro - which could be printed out empty as: 1. Empty questionaire or 2. when selecting a person there could be an option "Print out Fact Sheet" with all fields entered or not. In that way I can always ask a family member to fill me in on missing data! Second option might be an of exporting data in some for such as *.rtf, *.txt or. *.csv... individaulaly person by person or for all tree (with warning for (i.e.more then 10-15 persons/families) big trees)...

For the same purpose as you, i.e. to get additonal/missing data from a relative or from someone out there, I would also be interested in a proper simple facility for exporting single Ind or Fam data into an xls and/or a doc format. I did it but, as now, it's really painstaking. It would be so simpler if Genopro could, at least in a 1st instance through File -> Export -> Text Format, provide the possibility for: a) selecting only 1 Ind or 1 Fam instead of all of them. b) provide the txt file with the Field names vertically listed. This will, at least, avoid to carry out the below steps 6 to 9 (the most annoying ones). There's may be some other easier way to export but here are the steps I did. This assumes you already know about Excel: 1) in the Genopro Export Text panel, select, say for an Ind, the fields you want to be exported (with the Show/Hide Columns button). 2) select Permanent or Friendly Names. I selected the Friendly ones. 3) name your .txt file and Export. 4) close Genopro. 5) log into your txt file Dir, right click on your txt file and select Open with ... Excel (fetch Excel if not in the list). --- 6) in Excel, delete the rows/Inds you don't want. You should be left with the field name header row and only 1 Ind row. 7) select both rows then Ctrl C. 8) click an empty cell below the rows, right click then Paste Special, tick the Transpose box. Ok. You should have all the Field Names vertically listed. 9) delete the initial 2 rows. --- 10) adjust the columns width. You may have to set Text Wrap on for the 2nd column where your data is. 11) add up some Titles and a 3rd column titled, say, Corrections/Additions. 12) select all and add up a border to enclose each cell. 13) Save as ... an xls file format. You may password protect your 2 first columns if you want your relative to only write in the 3rd "Corrections/Additions" column. 14) email your xls file (or send a print) to your relative. That's it. Not that Easy peasy. and the xls winner is (I removed all my Ind data for privacy reason):
If you prefer to create a doc Word file, in the step 13 above, Save as ... an htm file format, open your htm file with Word, adjust your columns width, margins, page orientation and/or whatever and Save as ... a doc file format:
You can also create empty questionnaire/forms for an Ind or a Fam (I didn't try the Fam one but surely possible). Doing this way, you could also keep a hard copy of all your Inds and Fam if not too many!

In addition to this, will GenoPro 2 have additional tabs in the Export Text Panel for all the Table Layout properties? Right now there are only Individuals and Families. I would like to export a text file for pictures, sources and citations, among others.
