Hello. I have added pictures to individuals in my family tree. But when I change the file name of the folder in which the pictures where saved (example: Filename: September 10, 2006 pictures update) , the pictures in the family tree were absent. Then I have to manually add those pictures again so that they appear in the individuals info. I would want to know how to easily retrieve the pictures lost in the family tree. Thank you.

At the moment, there is no built-in feature for this. One feature we will add to GenoPro is the ability to rename a picture (or file attachment) directly within GenoPro. This will save time because you won't need to use Windows Explorer to rename your pictures and then change the picture paths within GenoPro.

If you have only changed the name of the folder and not the filenames of the pictures themselves you can use GenoPro's 'Rename Files / Move Pictures ..' option on the Tools menu. Use the 'Pick' button to select the original folder and the 'Browse' button to select the new one then click 'Rename'
