I think two buttons will be necessary, Pick Individual and Pick Family to assign individuals and families to a picture.

It's enough for me..... But I think Pick Family may be a little tricky: it's include adding just husband and wife, or may be they childrens also? what about they grand childrens? there are too many possibilities to add family to the picture. By using Pick Individual  you already have all of them: just pick who you want to add and it's all. But if you think that necessary, I have no complains....:P

Sorry for my poor English.... The relaitionship between us (me and English) could be more more better, but unfortunately it is not....... It's should be happy marriage, but in fact it's just non-sentimental cohabitation

By using this feature you end up with the result you have suggested, and is already a part of Gernopro as suggested by JcMorin earlier in this post.

let's say your goal is: to add one picture to 5 persons: mother, father, puppy 1, puppy 2 and puppy 3. what you must to do today?

1. create the family (same like step 1 in my way).

2. enter into the father properties (same like step 2)

3. go to the Picture tab and add a new picture : pic1 by browsing.(same like step 2)

4. find the mother and click to her properties.

5. go to the Picture tab, click on Pick button.

6. find the picture pic1 on list and click on check box.

7. click on Pick button to add the picture and to close the picture list windows.

8. find the puppy 1 and go to his properties.

9. do steps 5-7 again.

10. find the puppy 2 and go to his properties.

11. do steps 5-7 again.

12.find the puppy 3 and go to his properties.

13. do steps 5-7 again.

when you have 10 or more persons in the picture, doing this algorithm takes a lot of time......

I suppose, that my algorithm it's shorter.....

Sorry for my poor English.... The relaitionship between us (me and English) could be more more better, but unfortunately it is not....... It's should be happy marriage, but in fact it's just non-sentimental cohabitation

I usually just add this type of picture to the "Marriage" line

Unfortunately, our photos also include multiple persons, families, girlfriends, boyfriends, and hangers-on as well....

I usually just add this type of picture to the "Marriage" line

This is true for those photos pertaining to the Family line, but Lilya wants to say,  add all members to a picture of little Johnny who visits his relatives in England and had a photo of the reunion. The picture could be placed on all members in the photo. The current procedure is very slow and could be improved.

Hello again!

Can I expect, that my suggestion will appear in the genopro in the near future?

Sorry for my poor English.... The relaitionship between us (me and English) could be more more better, but unfortunately it is not....... It's should be happy marriage, but in fact it's just non-sentimental cohabitation
