Just loaded down latest beta release and generated Report.
In IE6 report seems to be displayed ok.
In Firefox, no pictures are displayed.

Also in both Browsers all the tags pertaining to a person are opened.

Yes, on V2b20b all tags have been set as automatically opened.

I have no error with pictures on Firefox Portable.

Yes, I changed this default.  By default, all nodes are opened.  You are welcome to tweak Config.xml to collapse the node you prefer to be closed by default.

Yes, I changed this default

I for one do not agree that all nodes should be opened by default. It significantly depreciates the clean look of the page.  In particular, the opening of the Family details is something I believe most Report Writers would avoid. The second partner may find that this infomation is confrontational , yet unavoidable if the node is open. It is better if from a selection of Family unions, the reader may open the one of choice, without seeing pictures of their partner or Parent with members they do not want to see.

And with a large volume of photos on the page, the loading is very slow for those without a broadband connection. This is my view as a pleased user of your software, and yes, I am capable, and do change these defaults to suit my needs, but not all usres are comfortable in changing these defaults, until in v3 when you include them in the Report Writer dialog.

I cannot see why you bothered to by default to open all the tags.
'If it aint broke, why change it' is a phrase that comes to mind with this change.

I thought it would be better to have a page with more information.  I will set those values as before.

That's great. I agree with other the posts that the pages are better with expandable items initially closed. But perhaps we need a help/information button in the heading frame that displays a page for new vistors that explains how best to navigate the pages in the report. i.e. what each button does etc. We are all now used to navigating around the pages of a report but I wonder how a new visitor manages it.

I wonder how a new visitor manages it

They click every thing in sight. Put a sign on that says "Do NOT CLICK HERE" and count the clicks.

However you are right, Ron. And new users are equally tentative at using new features.
