I'm tracing four branches of my
family tree
. The common element in each of the four branches is the
tree
starting with my parents. At the moment, I've got four separate GenoPro files---one for each branch. Any time there's a change in my immediate
family's information
, I have to change all four files. Is there a way that I can have the entire family tree in one file, but be able to show/hide branches? I'd like to put them on layers and turn them on and off, if possible.

From what I can read between the lines, you are most probably using the Version 1.9 or 1.99, which will be soon replaced by the version 2.0. The
beta version
can be
download
from here
http://www.genopro.com/beta/
.
You can split the whole tree into branches and link them with hyperlinks, very similar to Excel worksheets.
You can make a report from all branches together or just only one branch (called genomap), however at the moment there is no way to make a report from just 2 or 3 genomaps, but this has been requested and will come sooner or later.
Help files
are underway and will also be available soon.

Arigato gozaimasu, Maru-san! I'll check it out. I downloaded the beta version several months ago.
