I note that you have a yellow warning message up saying you had a major hardware failure on 15th December necessitating a new server.

Currently I am unable to access my six trees using IE6.0, Genopro Report or via my account.  I can log onto my account and see the trees listed using Control Panel.  However any attempt to access or edit the trees comes up with error messages which basically mean that the directories cannot be found.

Is this a problem that needs to be fixed at your end or do I need to recreate these trees?  If the latter is the case (which I don't mind) how do I delete the existing references via the Control Panel as attempting this at the moment simply comes up with an access error?

Grateful for your response and once this is sorted am looking forward to trying the new Genopro 2007.

FamilyTrees.GenoPro.Comand it's 350,000 pages should be up and running.

Thank you to whoever has been working on the server/webpages today.  I have, through the day, watched my trees become available one by one and the number of error messages decline.  I also note that the home page of familytrees.genopro.com has altered throughout today and it appears to be whole and complete again.

However, in the absence of a reply, I must comment that whilst all six trees are now available, five of them have lost their password protection (even though this is still set in Control Panel) with one keeping its protection.   On none of them can I view the svg version of the tree.  Clicking on the tree icon and then the appropriate map brings up a blank white screen where the tree should be although all the svg control icons are present.

Presumably there is work continuing?

Your reply obviously posted as I was writing mine.   Thank you for the work although as mentioned in my last post I still have some problems with my trees.

Am happy to re-edit the five trees that have lost password protection if this is possible but how do I go about restoring the svg view of the tree?

Thanks

Edit: The password protection is working again, no password has been lost.

Jean-Claude - thank you.  I can confirm all the password protection has now been restored to my trees.    All I would like now is to be able to view the svg tree graphic.  I do have svg viewer installed and was using it before the crash.

Thanks

Just checked and svg tree view now restored - everything seems to be back to normal.

While configuring the server, I took some screenshots to write a littke tutorial how to configure IIS to serve SVG files.
