I have imported a ged file with 63985 Individuals, allthough only 9829 Unions. So the answer is that GenoPro can handle that size of file. You can either Open or Import the file. Import gives you options about autoarrange etc.
You will probably need to split the file onto different Genomaps to make sense of it. There are topics in this forum about this

| GenoPro has no hardcoded limit, but limited by the amount of memory available. As a rule of thumb, expect about 1 KB per individual. If you have 30,000 individuals, you need about 30,000 KB which is 30 MB. We opened files containing over 500,000 individuals without problems. The speed was fast too to not notice any slow down.
