| I imported a large gedcom (which I think I used earlier - but may not have had autoarrange on) Without auto arrange there is no problem. With it the import takes a long time (as warned) but eventually finishes. There appears to be nothing on the display, but use of Ctrl-T and selecting an individual reveals a tree. When trying to save the file the following message appears. The file saves but does not want to reopen. The message log says Reading file 'D:\Data\ged\tester.gno'... Validating data... [Import Summary] 3 GenoMaps 74385 Individuals 28258 Families 8390 Marriages 100896 PedigreeLinks 12184 Places Import complete with 0 errors! However there is nothing on the screen! Use of Ctrl-T shows the data - but it will not display

| I suggest you to split those individuals into multiple GenoMaps. 74 000 individuals is a lots of people. You can use the Table Layout to select individuals. An easy way to do it, is to select a random individual, get his/her mate with the entire decendents tree them move the group to another GenoMaps with the context menu.

Each GenoMap will be easier to layout manually or use the AutoArrange.
