Can anyone confirm that published family tree when not Public are free from Google (or other search engine) Searches?

| If your tree is hidden, then it won't be indexed because there are no incoming links. On the other hand, once your tree has been indexed by a search engine, then hiding it won't stop the search engine to index new pages. In the later case, you need to set a password to protect your tree.

Thanks for your response. I wonder though if the administrators would be willing to add a robots.txt file to instruct the search engines not to index the site or know if adding the robots.txt would have the desired effect.
