First of all I apologize for the many "odd" questions!

I was wondering if there was a way to "quickly" collapse all Genomaps into a single Genomap.  I know I can individually move groups and delete the hyperlink individual and things connect back up, but this is tedious with multiple genomaps.

There are a couple of reasons I ask.  For one, it seems the GED file gets written differently with multiple genomaps being used.  A program I have to read the GED file says there are "disconnected" people when multiple genomaps are used, things are great when I collapse it all in one.  A work-around for me is to import the GED into Legacy, output a new GED and use that ... but I was trying to avoid multiple translations and it seems like some things get lost!

I also like to look at the overall picture and get a better feel for relations.  I can do a direct ancestor selection and get EVERYONE highlighted if things are all in one.  Good for temporary viewing and analysis.

Thanks

hi tomf

Combining genomaps is currently not a feature of Genopro.

It has been discussed on the Forum, and suggested that we could have the ability to "see through" the hyperlinks, hence viewing them as one.  It will form part of a future release, the priority of which I do not know.
