Hi

After generate report in web site in IE I can not see tree after put on icon Click to view Давид Яковлевич Альперович in the family tree

In table I read:

Do you want to open or save this file?

Name: FamilyTree. zip (not .gno)

Why not .gno

In my office all O.K.

What I do wrong?

Best regards  Juri

I think that this is IE trying to be helpful, and as often happens, getting things not quite correct.

The GenoPro file is now, internally, a zip file and so presumably IE has recognised this. If you click on the icon, you are trying to load the .gno file into GenoPro. I think you are trying this out in the office. Has the PC you are using had GenoPro installed?

If it has got GenoPro, then go ahead and load the file

You do not need to uninstall 2.16, if you still need it. I have 7 versions of Beta still on my machine. However make sure that both machines have versions of 2007, if you are using that file. I am not sure if this is important, but my installation is now in GenoPro2007. I can not remember if was my choice, or the default

I can not see a file on the GenoPro web listing. Is it password protected? If not is it on your own web space?
When you download, can you force the file to open with GenoPro2007?

Followed davidov's link and clicked on the Genopro icon. In Firefox you are asked to open the file and it suggests using GenoPro 2007. Using the IETab to load IE 6 the result is request top load file, which appears in the lower window. This would be normal behaviour.

Davidov appears to have created an incorrect file association on his office computer, making it react differently than on his home machine. He will need to edit the file associations in Windows.
