Hi,
I am trying to figure out if it is possible to some how (even if it means some type of custom creation on my part) change the date formats of all individuals on my family tree to display like the following: 2 Apr 2007. Is it possible to get the written out partial date on Genopro. In a poster created years ago using genopro, I see the dates are laid out this way. I am wondering if there is still a way to do that. I have it doing 02/04/2007, but this is overwhelming on posters the size of what I am making. It would be really nice if we could use the month abbreviations. thank you

Hi, have you tried changing the settings in the control panel?

My settings are on british in the control panel, but unfortunately I can't tell it to make all dates convert to abbrev letter form.

GenoPro uses the Short date option from the Control Panel. There is no default option to display the date as you want, but you can type in the format as shown below to almost achieve your requirement. You have to choose one of the default separators (- / .) but that should not detract from your presentation. If you want the day as a single figure then use d-MMM-yyyy

The only reservation of setting the Short date to this format is that any other program that also uses the Short date will display in the same way.
