My father has left me some ftw and and FBK files, but I can't see it, as I don't have a Family Tree Maker (and rather not purchase it, if I can avoid it). Can anyone help with converting these two files to GEDCOM ? Help would be greatly appreciated, Galia.

As I am a member of Amazon I was able to download the software and import your two files and then export them to Ged com files.Some of the names are strange, perhaps written in a font I don't have. I hope you can use them.

HY, Files are written is some strange (to me) scripting combination. I have a whole bunch of unicode fonts on my computer, but still cannot open correctly. It would help to know in which language settings the files were written (as I can read (almost) all European fonts and scripts).Was it Hebrew with RTL option?! As it requires additional scripting support instalation...

THX,I was just about to install Hebrew and RTL support and was looking through archives for Win... instalation disc...
