Every time I try to print a genogram I get the "illegal operation and the software will be shutdown" message.  I need to print these files for a school project urgently.  I even tried reinstalling genopro and I am still getting the same message.  In the details section it says there is a .dll error.

Please help, my project is already late because I can't print them!

Can you print other documents? For instance are you able to print from notepad or a word processor?

Can you specify where you get the 'illegal operation'? Is it during the print preview, is it while clicking on the Print button or somewhere else.  Can you copy/paste the entire error message?

Yes, I can print from all other programs.  It gives me the illegal operation message right after I click the "OK" button on the print screen.  It thinks for a second and then the error message pops up.

Hi

It looks like you have Win 98 and it is a known problem. Workaround is given here,

http://www.helpwithwindows.com/windows98/troub-343.html

and also here

http://www.smartcomputing.com/techsupport/detail.aspx?guid=&ErrorID=26186

It is mostly the incompatibility of the video and print drivers.

good luck
Sriram
