When a gedcom file is opened or imported not all of the individuals are aligned to the same grid. If you then join siblings to their parents the Pedigree link may not be vertical, which means that you can not move the child and link horizontally - the link is fixed to the family line. The solution is to press the 'G' key to snap to grid when all of the display is selected. This selection is automatic with an import but needs a Select All when opening a file.
This is a trivial nuisance (although not obvious to beginners) but it would be much better if this snap to grid was automatically performed by GenoPro in both cases.
