I have big problems with making the google maps work. Everytime I open my Genogram on my website a box comes up with a message about the Google Maps Api key is registered on another website and that that I should generate a new key. I have generated a new key - but I don' know where to put it. I tried to put in the configuration settings, but that doesn't work. As far as I can see now is that I should put the codes that I got with the new key on my genogram website. The card works locally but not on the web.
Can anyone help me??? It is pretty aanoying with that box that pops up. And it's not only on my compute.
Karen

| Just make sure you are using the latest version 2.0.0.7 of GenoPro and you generate your report from the built-in "English Narrative Report". There has been an update regarding the geomapping in 2.0.0.7. In the later versions of the Report Generator you are asked if you wish to alter anything in Configuration and if you answer yes then a menu appears with the ability to configure Google maps.

| Version 2.0.0.7 either has a bug or an "undocumented feature". A report generated with skin 2007.06.29 will only allow one query to Google Map. To view more than one I have to go back to the home page, which must reset something in the code, and then return to the page I was on. I have tested this on two machines using the same data set and get the same results. I used the same data set on a third machine using version 2.0.0.5, skin 2007.05.21 and generated a normal report which allowed me to continually query Google Map. I noticed that the java script has changed so is there a reset missing? Ian

Hum, you are right there does appear to be a problem but it only occurs with IE (6&7) (surprise! surprise!). If it is the same problem as I have found, you should see a yellow error triangle bottom left, and clicking it shows an error 'can't execute a freed script'. The attached script.js used in a custom skin fixes it for me. I'll ask for it to be included in the next release.
'lego audio video erro ergo disco' or "I read, I listen, I watch, I make mistakes, therefore I learn"

| Yes - I am using both IE 6 & 7 and there was a yellow error message I had not noticed. By changing the script it now works. Ian
