I have generated a report on my family tree and would like to make it so that it can only be accessed by authorized people to whom I have given the password. However, even though I have a password anyone can access the family tree on line. How do I prevent that from happening?

You have to log in, click the Control Panel and then the edit button for the familytree you want to protect. You will find a field, which is asking whether you want to protect with password. Follow the instructions.

Maru-San,Thank you for the reply but maybe I am just a little green when it comes to all of this. Log into what? I brought up the family tree and the web page and did not see a control panel option. I guess I need more specific step by step help. Thanks PS I went back and worked at it some more and found what I needed, I now have it protected. Thanks again.
