| At present the Status bar only seems to display the cursor position and a message when an item is selected. A feature I have found useful in other programs(eg WordPerfect) is to display open files there. This makes switching a one click process, rather than going to Menu/Window

We have many things we want to do with the status bar. At the moment GenoPro uses the built-in status bar provided by Windows. The day we write our own status bar, we will start adding those cool feature, including switching files, language, and many more options.
