Nowadays, with the advent of 2 same-sex couple being able to get married, I suggest Genopro to provide for an '_FF' option.
At the moment, in FR, we usually say:
 Peter et Mary sont mariés/séparés/divorcés.
For a 2 male couple we also say:
 Peter et Alan sont mariés/séparés/divorcés.
But for a 2 femelle couple, we should say:
 Mary et Christine sont mariées/séparées/divorcées.
The later is not presently supported, hence the need for an '_FF' option!
Up to Genopro, of course, to implement.
