Edit the detail of female.
First name, second names are ok.
Then are fields "Family Name / Maiden Name / Surname" and "Second Last Name". Here I run into the problem of displaying the fields "Full Name" and "Display Name".
For females Maiden names and Surnames are in Slavs cultural different. Mostly female, after the marriage, gets husbands name. So she has got Maiden Name and Surname ... but not "Second Last Name". I want to fill up both, but There is just one field. Maiden Name is not used anymore. There is no way to make difference between this names.
Another thing is, that it should by displayed as Name Surname (Maiden Name) ... I can do it by editing the fields "Full Name" and "Display Name", but I feel it wrong. Am I clear? Am I missing something?
thx

| Any genealogy program has the problem of how to display and report names that change over time, in this case due to marriage. Most users of GenoPro use the 'Family Name / Maiden Name / Surname' field to record the birth name of that person, and then use the 'Second Last Name' field to record any change in the last name - eg by marriage. The 'Full Name' then controls how that person is represented in the report, and the 'Display Name' how that person is shown in the Genogram. The default arrangement of these fields is controlled by the Display tab of the properties, but you can edit the content of these fields on the General tab to show anything you like - you are not limited to the options shown in the drop-down menus.
