I just started to publish my family tree online.

I have noticed that a large list of people are listed as unknown eventhough I have names for all of these people.

What can remove people from the unknown list and into the appropriate family heading?

Also what can i do to prevent repeat names from showing up on the names index?

Thank you for your time,

John

The "unknown" list at the bottom of the list is meant for individuals with no entry in the cell for last name. Have you checked that you've got the last name in the right cell? Just to strart the search for a solution somewhere!

Also check the settings in the Privacy tab of the Report dialog. If you have 'Remove All Living Individuals' checked they will show up as Unknown in the report unless you also check 'Keep Names'.
