Am I missing something?  I followed Genopro directions for creating a .ged file - select the menu item Export > Export to GEDCOM format... and enter the filename of the genealogy tree you want to export."  I've also changed the Charset to what the directions recommend:  Unicod (UTF 8.)  All I end up with is another copy of my tree in .gno format.  I am using Genopro version 2.0.1.5.  I've successfully converted my .gno to a .ged with an older version of Genopro in the past - is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for any insight  you can shed on my dilemna.

Judy

On the export to Gedcom drop down menu there are two options (I think this is correct on your version - if not upgrade)
The first version takes you to the Report Generator where you need to select the Gedcom Skin. This method gives the best gedcom for exchange with other programs.

The second version, which I think you have used, is mainly for exporting GenoPro specific data and is not fully compatible with other programs

Thank you so much.....the way you explained worked!  Genopro needs to revamp their tutorial because they don't mention this at all.  Again, many thanks!
