Can anyone find a link between Bouch and Marshall?
My Mother told me, age 8, "We Marshalls are related to Sir Thomas Bouch and a sea Captain of the sailing ship days"
Now William Bouch was Sir Thomas's father and little is known of him except he was a Captain of the East India Trading Company and was born around 1779 .
He died at Thursby Cumberland in 1838
He probably married Elizabeth Sanderson but mabe had wives in other ports.

My Mother was born 1897 In Sunderland of
Roger Marshall and Isabel Jane Rochester Newby (1873-1936)

All suggestions and hunches welcome
John
