Not transmit parents relationships to children !

Hello !
When creating parents relationships (for instance "divorce"), I would like that it does not extend to the children, that is to say that this link involve the parents only...
Is it possible ?

This is a screen capture I took, showing that "divorce", brown color, extend to children, which is not good for what I want to do ! I'd like only the horizontal link between parents to be brown...

You do not have to have two horizontal lines; you can merge them. Select the whole family which will look like this

Pot the cursor over the middle blue box on the parent line until the cursor changes from a cross to a line like this <->.

You can then drag the top line over the second line and they will merge

If you want to keep your current layout, then after connecting the parents with the family line connect the children as shown in the first diagram below, then using the node points on the lines adjust them to the arrangement shown in the second diagram.
