My Great-Great-Great Father had 4 sons, 1 daughter. By chance I clicked on the Properties.Family tab, saw only 3 sons, 1 daughter listed although the link clearly say 'biological child' I tried to relink the 4th son, so far no success. Also, at Properties.Family tab for my great-great-uncle, none of his own family member (wife, kid) listed...
Suggestion? Advise??

Sounds odd. I assume that on the parents family tab that three sons are named, but not the fourth. Suggestion would be to select the 'missing' son on the display and drag him away from the family line. It sounds as though you have then selected the pedigree line as it shows biological child. However you could look at his family tab to see if parents are listed. Otherwise select the pedigree line and delete it and then select the son and link as child and hope it works. There is something else slightly odd in that the forum does not report which version of GenoPro you are using

It is very odd. Actually I have names for all, thanks to grandfather's writings. Deleted pedigree line, linked as child multi times (link right away or saved-close-re_open) no luck. I did check his family tab...nothing - no parents, siblings, wife (name missing), son (whom I knew well) Seem the only way is to recreate. Which means I have to redo a few other relatives as well a job I like to avoid. Oh well. BTW, I use GenoPro 2007 2.0.1.6, under XP.

It is very difficult to diagnose such issues without sight of the actual .gno file. Would it be possible to copy the family concerned to a new .gno, change names etc if required, check the problem is still there and attach it to a post here? Alternatively use GenoPro's File/Send feature to send the original to me and I'll investigate, Examination of the underlying XML should reveal the problem. One possibility is an unseen extra family line.
