Everything seems to be well and good from the map view, but when I look at the individual view, I see there are individuals being linked as stepsiblings incorrectly. I'm sure I'm just missing some crucial information somewhere that would seperate them correctly, but what's happening is:
I have a man who had a long term relationship with a woman. They were never married. Each of them went off to marry other people and have other children. Now, each of their children are showing up as a stepsibling to the other party's children, because they had once been in a relationship, but were never married, and thus, their future children would not count as stepsiblings.
Does that make sense?
What am I missing to fix this?

You are correct in that, regardless of the original relationship, the children of the subsequent marriages are shown as step-siblings. The way to solve this is to open up the properties of the family line showing the original relationship, and on the Summary tab check the box 'Make Label / Exclude From Report'. Unfortunately, this will mean that this relationship will also be excluded from any report you produce.

Interestingly, the wikipedia definition indicates that marriage is not necessary in a step relationshipStepsiblingA stepsibling (stepbrother or stepsister) is a sibling with whom a person bears no blood or equivalent adoptive relation, and is related by the marriage or relationship of one parent of the person to one parent of the sibling. So from this definition, GenoPro is apparently correct. However I would find it strange having a stepsibling from subsequent relationships , rather than a previous relationship of a parent.

Although the Wikipedia definition for stepsibling is as above, the definition for stepfamily is:
Traditionally, a stepfamily is the family one acquires when a parent enters a new marriage, whether the parent was widowed or divorced. For example, if one's mother/father dies and one's father/mother marries another woman/man, the new woman is one's stepmother and vice versa. The counseling slogan "Stepfamilies are born out of loss" applies to such a case.
In other words, a stepsibling relates to children of your stepfather or stepmother by a previous (or subsequent?) relationship (whether married or not). As stated, it is strange to refer to (or through) relationships that terminated without any children. After all, somebody could have numerous relationships prior to a relationship that results in a child. Are the children of all the previous partners stepsiblings to this child?
Wikipedia, of course, is not the final arbiter for any definition as it subject to editing, but in this case I believe GenoPro is incorrect.
