Greetings,

I have been given an access code by my Professor to use this program during our course. My situation is that each time the software launches, I am faced with re-selecting the option for an academic registration. Going forward from that screen, the following screen has auto-populated my Professor's access code. I click through another couple of screens, then the system sends me another email, with the same registration number. I don't have to enter anything, I just have to click through the screens, then eventually all of those go away and GenoPro launches. 

It's not the end of the world obviously, but is there something that I can do to get the software to realize that when the software launches, that it is launching under the same licensee as the time before? 

If the only way to get rid of that process is to buy the software, then I'm there as it's the best available, in my opinion, but it would be nice to not have to make the purchase during this term if possible.

I would very much appreciate any information you can share about this, and thank you for any input or ideas.

Hello Julie,
GenoPro displays the Registration Wizard each time you start GenoPro.  If you have an evaluation key, you only need to click on the X button or press the Esc key to dismiss the dialog.

GenoPro gives each student one key per year, and this key is good for 180 days.  Feel free to use the following key 6DM-5VY-AMB-MHR-TMP which gives you another 180 days.

Hello,

Thank you for responding so quickly, and for the additional code for the next 180 days. However, I will go ahead and purchase after this term, because I intend to use this software in my own private practice and, well, it's just not right or honorable to use a trial. Wink

I will use the "esc" key option...that makes a lot of sense and frankly, I don't know why that didn't occur to me. I used to do technical support for Windows PC's and apps. You'd think I would have figured that one out on my own. LOL
